FBI ARREST MAN TRYING TO BOMB FEDERAL RESERVE BANK
A man who was allegedly plotting to blow up the Federal Reserve in New York has been arrested in a sting operation by the FBI.
The 21 year-old from Bangladesh parked a van, that he thought was filled with explosives, outside the bank.
Two of his accomplices were actually undercover agents.
New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says he entered the US as a student.
Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, 21, faces charges of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting to provide material support to al Qaeda, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
