ETIHAD APPROACHED BY INDIAN CARRIERS
Etihad Airways has now been approached by a number of Indian carriers about investment – but the carrier is still evaluating India’s new aviation FDI laws.
That’s according to CEO James Hogan.
The Indian government has just lifted a ban on investment into the country’s carriers by foreign airlines.
Arabian Business also quotes the executive as saying that Etihad Airways would consider buying the Irish Government’s 25 per cent stake in Aer Lingus.
However, he says they have not yet been approached with an offer.
