EMIRATES SIGNS 10-YEAR DEAL WITH QANTAS

Emirates airline has formed a 10 year alliance with Qantas.

Under the deal, Qantas will use Dubai as its hub for European flights, rather than Singapore. That will start next March.

Qantas will also co-ordinate pricing, sales and flight schedules with Emirates, and end its current relationship with British Airways.

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce says the partnership will help bring his airline back to profitability.

Dubai can now claim to have the world's most sustainable building. They've stolen the title away from a four-story block called Pixel in Australia.

UAE software developers were recently given the challenge to create apps specifically for children with special needs.

Emirates Airline will operate nearly 60 extra flights to Saudi Arabia during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
