DUBAI TO CUT CARBON EMISSIONS

Dubai is to step up its efforts to slash carbon emissions.

That’s according to the Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Saeed Al Tayer.

He says the emirate will adopt strict quotas for reducing carbon emissions on different projects and across different entities.

According to Gulf News, a new study will be carried out to measure Dubai’s emissions, before a new plan to reduce them is set.
