DUBAI RESIDENTS FEEL SAFE ACCORDING TO A NEW SURVEY

Dubai residents feel safe living in the UAE and are more than happy with security provided by Dubai Police.

That’s according to Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-General of local security here, who held a press conference yesterday.

A survey was conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and in reports today, it’s suggested that approximately 96.6% of respondents said they feel safe.

98% say police protection for the community in Dubai is good, while 96.4% said that efforts made by Dubai Police to prevent crime are adequate.

The survey covered 2050 individuals from all the emirates. 70.5% of them were male and 29.5% female.
