BRITAIN MAY HAVE REURNED TO GROWTH

There’s speculation that GDP figures due out in the UK on Thursday may show that Britain has returned to growth.

The UK is officially in recession after nine months of contraction that saw the economy shrink by just over 1%.

However, economists believe that official figures may show the economy grew by around point 7 of one per cent in the last quarter.
