BAN KI MOON CALLS FOR MASSACRE INVESTIGATION
The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is calling for an investigation into reports of a massacre just outside Damascus.
Opposition reports claim more than 300 people were killed in the town of Daraya, as government forces sought to hold onto the outskirts of the capital.
Ban-Ki-moon says the killings are an "appalling and brutal crime".
