$5M PRIZE PURSE GOES BEGGING
It seems there’s no taker for $5m!
The panel for the Mo Ibrahim prize for good governance in Africa, supposedly the world's most valuable individual prize apparently hasn’t found any suitable awardee.
The massive prize purse is meant to be awarded each year to a democratically elected leader who has voluntarily left office.
There was also no winner in 2009 and 2010.
Cape Verde President Pedro Verona Pires won the award last year.
