New law amends property registration in Dubai

A new law amending the rules on interim property registration has been issued in Dubai.

The legislation sets out procedures for dealing with sales contract breaches by property buyers.

The law specifies that the developer must notify the Dubai Land Department (DLD), who must then give a 30-day notice to the purchaser.

It aims to protect both real estate investors and developers.
