Nehra to bid farewell to cricket
Veteran Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra will end his 18-year international career with the Twenty20 International against New Zealand on November 1.
The 38-year-old fast bowler’s last outing will be at his home ground in Delhi.
Nehra made his international debut in a Test against Sri Lanka in 1999, and has so far played 17 Tests, 120 ODIs and 26 T20 Internationals.
He has picked 157 ODI wickets, besides 44 Test and 34 T20 scalps.
His 6 for 23 against England in the 2003 World Cup remain the best figures by an Indian in World Cups.
