Latin Americans condemn Trump over Venezuela ‘military threat’
After months of attacking Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro, Latin America came out strongly against the US.
They condemned US President Donald Trump over threats of military action against the crisis-hit nation, saying dialogue and diplomacy are the only ways to restore peace.
Venezuela’s foreign minister said Trump’s words had been hostile and risked destablising Latin America.
Over 120 people have been killed in Venezuela since April as thousands rallied against Maduro’s controversial plans to install a constituent assembly that expanded his powers.
