India grounds Airbus jets with faulty engines

Two low-cost carriers in India have had to cancel at least 70 flights on account of the Indian civil aviation watchdog grounding 11 aircraft that have faulty engines.

The European Aviation Safety Agency that regulates Airbus aircraft has called the decision ‘unilateral’, saying that a complete grounding of these planes was not necessary.
