Hamilton backtracks on deliberate collision comments
Lewis Hamilton has admitted that it was “dumb” to imply that Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen deliberately collided with him at the start of the British Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver had earlier said Raikkonen used “interesting tactics” during the race, which saw Raikkonen hit the back of Hamilton’s car and spin him on the opening lap.
However, the Englishman posted on Instagram that it was a racing incident and nothing more.
Hamilton also said “sometimes we say dumb” things and “we learn from it”.
