Gig Tripping To Edinburgh For A Good Cause #TheTicket
We’re heading off to the capital of Scotland for another great gig but this time it’s all for a good cause.
Edinburgh is hosting a mass sleep out to end homelessness in Scotland on the 9th of December, called Sleep in the Park.
At least 9,000 people are expected to sleep out in the cold for one night, in what will be the world’s largest ever sleep out, that also includes some of the biggest artists from around the globe.
You can hear the likes of Liam Gallagher, Deacon Blue, Frightened Rabbit and Amy Macdonald. John Cleese will be reading a bedtime story, Sir Bob Geldof will be mingling in the crowds, and hosting the whole thing will be Rob Brydon.
The minimum donation for the sleepover is AED 480 (GBP 100)
So looking at the nuts and bolts starting with a flight to Edinburgh, Scotland on KLM flying on the 8th Dec with one stop in Amsterdam can get us there for AED 2,207
Now where to stay?
We’ve found a cool Airbnb, right in the heart of the Old Town with a view of Edinburgh Castle and for 3 nights it comes in at AED 1,656.
So that entire trip will cost you AED 3,963 – including flights, accommodation, and tickets to the park. Don’t forget to pack the woolies!
