Manchester United boosted their chances of reaching the last-16 of the Champions League with a dramatic 2-1 win over Juventus.
Jose Mourinho’s men grabbed two late goals in Italy to cut the gap on Group H leaders Juve to two points.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for the hosts in the 65th minute, but Juan Mata’s 86th minute equaliser and an own goal by Alex Sandro (89′) helped Man United seal the win.
Meanwhile, Manchester City thrashed Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0, with Gabriel Jesus hitting a hat-trick.
But the Group F leaders aren’t guaranteed qualification yet after Hoffenheim and Lyon drew 2-2 in the other group encounter.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid trounced Viktoria Plzen 5-0, Bayern Munich beat AEK Athens 2-0, Valencia defeated Young Boys 3-1, Benfica drew 1-1 with Ajax and Roma edged CSKA Moscow 2-1.
