Filipinos in Dubai hold inter faith prayers for soldiers back home
A group of Filipinos from Dubai have held an inter-faith prayer meeting for soldiers fighting terrorists in Marawi City, as the battle enters its eight week.
They’ve also sent letters and postcards thanking the soldiers after the local consulate encouraged the community to help boost their morale.
They will be sent through the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs to troops in Marawi.
Marlene Murphy, a member of Filipino Ladies in Dubai, explained why she attended the gathering Christians and Muslims last night.
