Roger Federer has once again re-written the tennis history books by winning Wimbledon for a record eighth time.
He prevailed in his Wimbledon men’s singles final match against Croatian Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-1, 6-4.
It’s also an unprecedented 19th grand slam success for the Swiss maestro, who didn’t
drop a set throughout the tournament.
He says he never gave up hope of lifting the AELTC trophy once again.
