Federer moves closer to world rankings summit
Roger Federer is up to third in the Tennis world rankings, following his success at Wimbledon.
The 19-time Grand Slam winner has stormed up the list from 17th at the start of the season, to sit behind leader, Andy Murray, and number two, Rafael Nadal.
As the 35 year-old missed the last six months of last season, he now has no points to defend, meaning he has a good opportunity to become the oldest-ever world number one.
Meanwhile, Karolina Pliskova has moved to the top of the ladies rankings, ahead of Simona Halep.
Angelique Kerber has dropped down to third, whilst Johanna Konta is up to a career-high of fourth.
