England, Croatia prepare for semi-final battle
England take on Croatia later Wednesday in the second semi-final of the World Cup.
The Three Lions will be buoyed by the fact that Jamie Vardy has recovered from a groin problem while Jordan Henderson is also fit following a tight hamstring.
Meanwhile, Croatia will be without the services of right-back Sime Vrsaljko, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Their first-choice goalkeeper Danijel Subasic is also a doubt after he sustained a hamstring niggle in the quarter-final win over Russia.
The winner of the match will play France in Sunday’s final after Les Bleus beat Belgium 1-0 on Tuesday night.
Kick-off is at 10 pm UAE time.
