#DubaiToday: Eye on Health with Helen Farmer

Helen Farmer is talking about the concepts of a “normal” childbirth and whether there is such a thing. She welcomes Dr Rosalie Sant, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist from Primavera Medical Centre to the studio to discuss childbirth, expectations, options and trauma.

In the second hour Dr Sant will stay on air and be joined by Dr Hosam Al-Qudah, Consultant Urologist from Healthbay Clinic and Al Zahra Hospital, and Renée Knowles, physiotherapist from Up and Running. They will be discussing incontinence. Incontinence affects between 4% and 8% of the population and approximately the lives of almost 400 million people worldwide. Films stars Kate Winslet, Samuel L Jackson and Helena Bonham Carter have all admitted to suffering from the condition. Despite this, it is still a taboo subject for many.
