Suzanne Radford was joined by Suzanne Husseini and Michelin starred chef Giorgio Locatelli, talking food, ingredients and much more. Giorgio brought us his signature Caponata on pizza bread!

The highlights of the outside broadcast at the Anatara Gourmet Festival at the Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. Suzanne Radford was joined by chef and author Dima Sharif, the UAE Honey man, Riath Hamed and Anantara´s Executive Chef Maurice Fitzgerald. World oyster shucking champion Xavier Caille showed us the different ways to shuck an oyster, Michelin starred chef Claudio Sadler treated us to a shank of veal with red grapes, stewed artichokes and black truffle. Chef Prin Polsuk cooked up a coconut and turmeric curry of crab with calamansi lime and award winning pastry chef Marike Van Beurden brought with her strawberry, white chocolate and jasmine flower tarts.

Suzanne Radford visits the Dhow & Anchor in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel where Executive Chef Daniel Hillier teaches her how to make a warm salad of wood pigeon, caramelized chicory, pickled walnuts and blood orange.

In this video, Suzanne Radford goes behind the scenes at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, part of the Jumeirah Group, where she finds out about developments as the school marks its 15 year anniversary with Managing Director Judy Hou. She´ll be talking about the business of hospitality, educating future leaders in the industry and she catches up with first year students on their first cookery class! It was a special Thursday Brunch on September 29th 2016 as Suzanne Radford was joined by award winning and Michelin starred chef Nathan Outlaw, who brings his flavours to Al Mahara seafood restaurant at the Burj Al Arab. He brought a bunch of goodies to the studio: pickled oysters with jalapeño and gherkins, citrus cured brill, anchovy, smoked almonds and basil as well as a seared raw yellow fin tuna with pickled ginger carrots, onion and chilli!

It was a smoking hot Thursday Brunch on #DubaiToday on September 15th! Suzanne Radford was joined by chef and FnB consultant Vanessa Bayma, who during the show demonstrates how she smokes some salmon. Also around the studio table was Riath Hamed, the UAE Honey Man and founder of Balqees Honey as well as Orit Mohamed, General Manager of Boon Coffee.

On this Thursday Brunch on #DubaiToday it is Rosalind Parsk, Head Chef at The Ivy, Zhora Qureshi, Founder and Chef at Zo’s Kitchen, entertainer, performer and host Stuart Kennedy and of course our very own Suzanne Radford who are around the studio table!

What´s the chain of events it takes to get food to your table – be it Honey from Yemen, your Moti Roti or a fresh juice? Joining Suzanne Radford on this Thursday Brunch is Michael Wunsch, Chef and Managing Director at Barakat Quality Plus, who´ll bring many of the Barakat fresh juices, some of them new to the UAE´s shelves, Tahir Shah, Founder of Moti Roti, who makes Pakistani soul food inspired by the ‘Roti’ and of course Riath Hamed, the UAE Honey Man, who´s the founder of Balqees Raw Honey.

As always, it was an amazing Thursday Brunch on #DubaiToday on 4th August 2016! Tahir of Moti Roti brought a “roti pizza”, Sweet Potato Samosas and Okra Fries. Zohra of Zo´s Kitchen had fudge raspberry brownies in her bag. And Chef Jens Muenchenbach of the Waldorf Astoria Dubai on the Palm served us Bun Bo Trom Nam Bo a Beef, a noodle salad with basil, mints and dipping sauce, ‘Bo cuon La’ Lot, a beef wrapped in King Henry Leaves with peanuts and for desert Basil Panna Cotta! Need we say more? THAT´S why we love the Thursday Brunch.

The highlights of today´s amazing, flaming hot Thursday Brunch show on #DubaiToday with Chef Lloyd Roberts from Wakame, Orit from Boon Coffee, entertainer Stuart Kennedy and of course our very own Suzanne Radford! On menu is the ‪Wakame salad, a green market bowl, the all new hamachi carpaccio and Wakame´s signature Rock n’ Roll maki and another addition to the menu – a beetroot maki! Thank you Chef Lloyd Roberts for bringing this amazing food to our studio! Plus Orit from Boon Coffee brought her latest coffee deliveries from Ethiopia, her home country: a bag of Kaffa and a bag of Limu coffee, freshly roasted and smelling amazing!

While Dubai Today´s Suzanne Radford traveled to Ethiopia in search of Rare White Honey, she visits Antica Restaurant in Addis Ababa and makes fresh pasta out of Teff with Chef Yohanis Gebreyesus Hailemariam.

On ‪#‎DubaiToday‬, we had the chefs from Alto Mar restaurant in Jumeirah 1´s Fishing Village in the studio today. Chefs Anthony Pichons from France and Daniel Arenas from Columbia brought Yellow Gazpacho, Salmon Tartare, Cod Fish Cakes, Creamy Codfish, Octopus Lagareiro (Octopus in Olive Oil) and Lemongrass Creme Brulee! Wow!

Dubai Today´s Suzanne Radford discovers wonderful cheese made in New Zealand: Cwmglyn Farmhouse Cheese (pronounced Coom-glin). The farm is situated in the North Island of New Zealand, on the border between the Tararua and Wairarapa districts, approximately 75km north of the capital, Wellington. Suzanne drives two hours ‘over the hill’ through Wairarapa to meet cheesemaker Biddy Fraser-Davies and her Jersey cows: Holly, Isobel, Dizzy and Patsy.

The highlights of today´s Thursday Brunch on ‪#‎DubaiToday‬ with Suzanne Radford! Joining her around the table – it was only women today – was Suzi Croft, Managing Partner of Appetite Catering, chef, author and blogger Dima Sharif and The Ivy’s new Head Chef Rosalind Parsk, who lets a chocolate bomb explode live on air!

What concerns young people when it comes to health? Suzanne Radford hears from students at Nord Anglia International who designed a health survey for young people, raising awareness on how much a child should exercise, recommended calorie intakes, conditions like type 2 diabetes and more.

We are celebrating the Hyderabad food festival that´s taking place at Mahec, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on Airport Road, with Chef Extraordinaire Satish Arora. His cuisine is praised by the Queen of England, by Indian and British Prime Ministers and many more! He was even once declared as being among “the world’s 20 best chefs”, and that´s why we are delighted to enjoy his authentic Hyderabadi dishes, influenced by different cultures and traditions the city is famous for.

First on the menu is Murgh Banjara, an appetizer with light pieces of chicken in a traditional, spicy marinade. As a main course we enjoy Lamb Biryani with Salad and Raan, a spiced roast leg of lamb. And for dessert we are looking forward to Aam Ka Tukda, a mango pudding on fried bread!

Orit, Founder of Boon Coffee in Dubai travells to Ethiopia with Dubai Eye´s Suzanne Radford and here they try freshly roasted beans and brew a fresh cuppa.

On this Thursday Brunch Sally Mousa, standing in for Suzanne Radford, is joined by Sheraton´s Chef de Cuisine Raymond Wong, by Riath Hamed, the UAE´s honey man and founder of Balqees Honey as well asby Yasmine Idriss Tannir, Culinary Explorer, Graphic Designer, Feeding Enthusiast, Food Stylist and Recipe Developer.

During the show, Chef Ray will be serving us cheese fondue, lamb 26, Thai steam mussels, rainbow steam buns and chocolate fondant with ice cream! How amazing is that???

Suzanne Radford was joined by celebrity chef Lisa Faulkner, by host and judge of BBC1’s top-rating MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and Junior MasterChef, John Torode, and of course by chef Suzanne Husseini who brings us wonderful Arabic dishes to try live on air!

The secret world of airline meals – Suzanne Radford discovers the largest airline catering facility in the world, Emirates Flight Catering! It is based right next to Terminal 1 at Dubai International Airport. Since it opened in 2007, the Emirates Flight Catering facility, a colossal factory on several floors, has supplied over 300 million meals to Emirates flights! Nearly 2000 tonnes of food come in each day, churning out 150,000 dishes a day on average. But wait till it´s peak season: on January 2nd this year a record 184,000 meals where produced at EKFC – in one day! How do you manage that, and how does Emirates Flight Catering ensure its quality? That´s what Suzanne is about to find out. She speaks to Jane Zdrojewski, who´s the Senior Operational Performance Manager at Emirates Flight Catering, who takes her on a tour of the facilities.

After her tour, Suzanne continues the conversation with Joost Heymeijer, the Senior Vice President of Inflight Catering with Emirates. He´s a chef by trade, and every day, he is part of a food tasting. There he introduces Suzanne to Sandra You, the Catering Manager of the Concept Development team at Emirates Airline. She organizes the food tasting and picks out what´s on the tasting-menu each day for her and her team to try, discuss and perhaps improve.

We were live at accessAbilities Expo 2016! Suzanne Radford and guests spoke about the accessibility in our community and the importance of including all people – regardles of their ability or disability. Suzanne was joined by Jarrett Martin, a professional skydiver and one of just two master parachute riggers in the UAE. He made history by breaking the world record for the longest flight time in a wind-tunnel by a disabled person in September 2015. Also joining Suzanne was Stephanie Hamilton, Creative Visionary and Founder of “I am ME” and Charl Stenger, Manager of Orthotic Prosthetic Services at Mediclinic as well as Dareen Barbar, who was 15 when an aggressive form of bone cancer was diagnosed, leading to her left leg being amputated above the knee. I learned about the healing and cleansing of eucalyptus sap, which were the nutrient rich reeds I could eat (they tasted like celery) and baking with wattle seed and I got to try emu pie!
