Dubai Municipality develops special Ramadan cleaning plans
A number of plans to keep Dubai clean during the holy month of Ramadan have been developed by Dubai Municipality.
Its Waste Management Department will deploy 2,200 workers to clean the city, as well as increasing the number of sweeping equipment being used.
There will also be a special focus on the cleanliness of highways and a programme for cleaning water channels such as Dubai Creek and the Business Bay Canal.
Meanwhile, additional bins have been deployed near mosques and locations of Ramadan events, whilst an emergency team has been formed to react to complaints from the public as quickly as possible.
