It's another week on Entertainment Today and news never sleeps. With that in mind Jason and Zulf have been scouring the planet and the interweb for stories that will both shock and awe our avid listenership. And you know what we have not come up short; we bade a fond farewell to uber Hollywood producer Richard Zanuck of Alice in Wonderland and Jaws fame as well as covering news of the untimely demise of the 36 year old son of Sylvester Stallone, Sage. It was not all bad news as a retrospective of the Rolling Stones who celebrate 50 years of rocking and rolling sees the septuagenarians (mostly) in talks to reunite for another set of gigs. The adage goes; 'form is temporary and class is permanent' and these haggard old rockers show no signs of receiving their forty licks and will no doubt outlive us all. Jason and Zulf compiled their favourite stones tracks and reminisced fondly of the impact these guys have had culturally and musically over a era defining generation and the influence they have wielded on the pretenders to their throne of Rock Gods.
Travel Today saw Linda Behringer explore the wonderful delights of Jordan and hear her engage in conversation with cats as well as a truly well informed and engaging narrative expose of what Jordan has on offer. That was part 1 but stay tuned for next week as she goes to Wadi Rum, among other treasures, and that guarantees to be a must listen piece as very few of our presenters paint quite as vivid and humorous a picture as our esteemed Linda.
