Canada pulls families of diplomatic staff from Cuba

Canada has announced its decision to bring home the families of its diplomats in Cuba, as unusual health problems persist.

It added that a year-long investigation into a mysterious illness afflicting Canadian officials failed to show any conclusive answers.

According to reports, 10 Canadians have suffered from dizziness, nausea and difficulty concentrating.

Canadian and US authorities had initially suspected a “sonic attack” or a “mass psychosomatic incident”, but a report by a Canadian medical specialist has pointed to a new type of brain injury.
