Bahamas, St Kitts to be removed from EU tax havens list
The European Union is set to remove Bahamas and St Kitts and Nevis from its blacklist of tax havens.
The pair of Caribbean islands were added to the list in March because their tax laws were not up to par with the standards of the EU.
However after implementing certain changes, the two islands will now be in a so-called grey list of jurisdictions.
The decision to remove Bahamas and St Kitts and Nevis from the list will be formalized at meeting attended by finance ministers next week.
