At least 15 killed in bomb blast in Pakistan’s Quetta
At least 15 people have been killed and two dozen others injured after a powerful blast targeted a military truck in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan on Saturday night.
The so-called ISIS claimed the attack shortly afterwards, saying a motorcycle suicide bomber killed 17 soldiers.
Authorities have imposed a state of emergency in the city and all hospitals have been put on alert.
Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said terrorists were trying to disrupt Monday’s Independence Day celebrations.
