Art masterpiece ‘Waterlicht’ coming to Dubai
Another world renowned masterpiece is making its Middle East debut in Dubai, and people can experience it for free.
Waterlicht is a public art installation by Dutch artist Daan Roosegarde that’s described as ‘an immersive dream landscape’.
It will be on display on November 11, 15 and 16 (Sunday, Friday and Saturday) from 730 to 1030pm.
Waterlicht marks the opening of the Jameel Arts Centre, billed as the city’s new neighbourhood for contemporary art, at Jaddaf Waterfront, next to Palazzo Versace.
The centre’s inaugural programme includes major exhibitions, new commissions and installations by more than 40 artists, as well as on-site experiences.
