AED 5 million allocated for famine-hit Somalia
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment has allocated AED 5 million to help the famine-stricken Somalia.

It has set up an operation room to speed up the humanitarian aid delivery in coordination with the UAE Embassy in the capital city of Mogadishu.

The establishment had earlier distributed over than 900 tonnes of food stuff and other basic needs to the people of Somalia.

It had also built 15 hospitals and clinics, seven of which are obstetrics and maternity.
