The UAE Red Crescent Authority has got it’s medical campaign underway in the flood hit Pakistan city of Nowshera.
The project in coordination with UNICEF aims to immunize children against measles and women against tetanus.
The team’s due to vaccinate over 300 people in the next few days.
The RCA alongside UNICEF have a combined target of inoculating 625,000 inhabitants living in make shift tents.
As floods recede in Pakistan, the risks of disease and epidemics is calling for intensive relief operations.
